Student Visa Information

Visa Eligibility

Our three-month set of classes allows you to apply for a student visa for either six months or one year in Colombia.

Important Notice: El Dorado Spanish School does not directly handle your visa application. However, we provide assistance throughout the process, having guided many of our international students through it. We can also recommend a specialized office to manage your documentation. Please note that purchasing our sessions does not guarantee visa approval, but it is a necessary step as per the requirements of the Ministry of Education in Colombia.

Course Description

Program Duration and Schedule

Our program duration is based on the hours provided by our language center, You can scheduled three classes from Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 8 PM. Each class is 45 minutes long. The other two days you will do independent work.

Level Breakdown:

• Level A1: 120 hours per month
• Level A2: 160 hours per month
• Level B1: 160 hours per month
• Level B2: 160 hours per month
• Level C1: 160 hours per month

In total, our program consists of 700 classes over 14 months, progressing from Level A1 to Level C1.

Certified Spanish Program

El Dorado Spanish School offers a certified and registered Spanish program with the Ministry of Education in Colombia. This certification allows our students to apply for a student visa if they plan to stay in Colombia for more than 180 days.
